Core T700 paddle

I have to preface this review saying that as a low intermediate pickleballer, I don't think my technique is quite refined enough to notice the intricacies around things like grit, balance, etc... BUT I know that I love this paddle. Prior to this paddle, I was primarily playing with a very good paddle by one of the big names out there. It's an excellent paddle that did everything I asked of it. I didn't need a new one, but I bought this Core Reaction Pro (16mm) purely out of curiosity on a very good sale. The first thing I noticed when I went between the two paddles was they felt similar (which is a good thing). Comfortable weight, good feeling in the hand. The only difference I can notice at my level is a fun one - this paddle definitely has more pop! I wouldn't say there's functionally more power because I haven't tested it, but the sound is certainly louder and that's nice. I have since played with this paddle alongside other highly regarded paddles and my impressions stand. This is a good one that belongs in the conversation with any quality paddle out there. While I didn't pay full price for this, knowing what I know now, I think it's definitely worth it even if there's no sale.
