How does the Core Cares ball donation program work?
For every six qualifying CORE PRO2 pickleballs purchased through COREAthletics.com, CORE donates one pickleball to a community center or qualifying 501(c)(3) youth or local program. Your purchase helps us support organizations bringing people together through pickleball.
Which purchases count toward Core Cares donations?
Qualifying CORE PRO2 pickleballs purchased through COREAthletics.com count toward the program. All pack sizes over 6 balls count toward the program.
Do I need to sign up or use a code for my purchase to count?
No. When you purchase qualifying CORE PRO2 pickleballs through COREAthletics.com, your purchase is included automatically. No code or separate donation is required.
Who receives the donated pickleballs?
CORE donates pickleballs to community centers and qualifying 501(c)(3) youth and local programs that use pickleball to serve their communities. Our goal is to support organizations that can put the balls into regular use and help more people get on the court.
Why did CORE start Core Cares?
We believe the growth of pickleball should create more opportunities to play. Community programs can introduce the game to new players, bring neighbors together, and make shared equipment available to people who may not have their own. Core Cares gives us a practical way to support that work with the product we know best: pickleballs.
How can my community center or nonprofit request pickleball donations?
We’d like to learn about your program and how you use pickleball to serve your community. FORM with your organization’s information and confirmation of your 501c3 status.
Requests are accepted year round and we will respond within 7 days of your application as to if your organization qualifies.
Which organizations are eligible for Core Cares support?
Core Cares supports community centers and qualifying 501(c)(3) youth and local programs using pickleball in their communities. These organization must reside within the United States, excluding Alaska and Hawaii due to shipping issues.
What kind of pickleballs does CORE donate?
We provide either the PRO2 or the Impact pickleballs in whatever colors we have available. We aim to provide balls that fit the recipient’s playing environment and program needs. If your organization plays primarily indoors or outdoors, please tell us when you apply.
How do donated pickleballs help make pickleball more accessible?
A program needs equipment it can share, replace, and use consistently. Donated pickleballs help community organizations run introductory sessions and ongoing play without requiring every participant to bring their own balls. It is one practical way to help more people take part in the game.
